How Best five works
You see the five board cards and your two hole cards. Tap the five that make the best poker hand, then Check. Any five with the same value count as right, and every answer marks the best five on the table.
The deals lean toward the spots beginners misread: one hole card playing, the board playing, three pairs, and flushes and straights hiding among seven cards.
How to find the best five
- Look for the strongest pattern first. Check for a flush and a straight before you count pairs.
- Your hole cards don't have to play. When the board alone is best, you play the board.
- Three pairs in seven cards? Only the two highest count, and the fifth card is the highest one left.
- Kickers matter. After the pair, take the highest cards you can.
Questions
Do I have to use my hole cards?
No. Your hand is the best five of all seven cards: both hole cards, one, or none.
What if two different picks are equally good?
Both count as right. Suits don’t change a hand’s value, so swapping a card for one of the same rank changes nothing.
Can I use the keyboard?
Yes: number keys 1 to 7 pick or drop cards, Backspace clears them, and Enter checks your five, then moves to the next hand.
