Why practise with short drills

Reading a guide tells you that a flush beats a straight. A drill makes you see it in under two seconds, with two hands that look alike. Each drill here isolates one skill, deals you real situations and explains every answer, so you learn from the hands you get wrong.

How exams and stars work

  • Some drills are exams. Get 8 of 10 right to pass one.
  • Stars show your best round: one star for 6 correct, two for a pass, three for a perfect round.
  • The other drills are practice: play them as often as you like.

Questions

Does this involve real money?

No. There's no betting, no chips to buy and nothing to win. The drills are for learning only.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Every drill is built for phones first and works just as well on a computer, with keyboard shortcuts.
