How Build a hand works
Each hand asks for one poker hand: a flush, a straight, a full house and more. Tap five of the ten cards on the table to build it, then Check. When there's more than one way, any of them counts.
How to build each hand
- Flush: count the suits first, then take five of the one that has enough.
- Straight: put the ranks in order in your head and look for five in a row with no gap.
- Full house: find three of one rank, then a pair of another.
- Not too strong: asked for three of a kind? Make sure the other two cards don't pair, or it becomes a full house.
Questions
Does a straight flush count as a straight?
Yes. A straight flush is a straight and a flush at once, so it counts for either one.
Why ten cards?
Enough to hide the hand among a few cards that don’t help, and few enough to scan in a few seconds.
Can I use the keyboard?
Yes: number keys 1 to 9 and 0 pick or drop the ten cards, Backspace clears them, and Enter checks your five, then moves to the next hand.
