RankMyHand teaches poker the way you'd learn any game: the cards first, then the hands, then the decisions. Everything is free to start, built for phones first, and every answer comes with the reason.
What is RankMyHand?
- The hand analyzer: pick your cards and see your best five-card hand, where it ranks and what the board could still bring.
- The guides: the rules, the hand rankings, odds and outs, a glossary, and how to host a home game, in plain words.
- The path (Start here): five stages of skills that take you from fish to narwhal. Short lessons teach the skills, each skill ends in an exam that passes at 80%, and each stage you finish gives you the next sea creature: fish, pufferfish, octopus, shark, orca and narwhal.
- The drills: quick rounds such as Which hand wins? and Name the hand. Right or wrong, every answer is explained with each player's best five cards.
- Tools for real tables: a blinds timer for home games, played for chips.
The guides, the hand analyzer and Stage 1 are free with no account. Later stages will need a free account, and the last three will come with Pro.
Who runs it?
RankMyHand (www.rankmyhand.com) is run by Sulefa OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. Sulefa OÜ publishes the content, answers your messages, and looks after your data as the privacy policy describes.
Is there any real money involved?
No. RankMyHand is for learning only. The coached tables use play chips, the drills have nothing to bet, buy or win, and the blinds timer counts chips, not prizes. We never offer or promote real-money gambling.
How do we make the content?
- Every figure is worked out, never typed from memory. Odds and probabilities on the site are computed exactly over every possible deal before they're published.
- The winner is decided by the cards. The hand evaluators behind the analyzer, the drills and the lessons are tested against 50,600 deals with known winners.
- Explanations come from the hand you were dealt, so they always match the cards on your screen.
- Guides say when they were last updated, and What's new lists what we've added and changed.
- Mistakes get fixed. If something looks wrong, tell us and we'll check it and correct it.
